About this file
This document is a brand name justification for the purchase of Cisco switches by the Department of the Interior Bureau of Indian Affairs Office of Information Management Technology. The Bureau of Indian Affairs Office of Information Management Technology requires Cisco switches to replace aging equipment for approximately $924,652.68. A non-Cisco solution would limit capabilities and potentially cause data loss given the Bureau's existing Cisco infrastructure across all regions. The requirement will be posted as an Indian Economic Small Business Enterprise set-aside solicitation numbered 140A1623Q0059 to encourage competition among eligible resellers. Market research found several potential Indian Economic Small Business Enterprise suppliers for the brand-name equipment.
