About this file
This document outlines the engraving and marking requirements for Snap On toolkits being procured by the Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command. The solicitation seeks 14 Snap On branded toolkits in accordance with the specifications provided. Each toolkit will be assigned a unique identifier consisting of the letters "VMITK" followed by a three digit number, with the initial contract toolkits numbered 027 through 040 and any additional option toolkits numbered 041 through 044. Furthermore, each individual tool within the corresponding toolkit must be laser etched with the toolkit number. Tools are required to be inset into laser cut foam trays with an alternating black and red color scheme to facilitate organization and identification of any missing tools.
