ATTACHMENT 1 – SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
The system must have and include all necessary and required parts, elements and hardware to manage, schedule, operate, broadcast distribute and media feed from local and remote locations as well as to integrate into our cable head‐end through HDMI, s‐video, and component video feeds. Peripheral must be included along with primary system equipment. The system must be completely “plug‐n‐play” with a an easy to use user‐interface that first time multicultural users are able to understand, integrate and operate in daily activity with little or no training required. All the systems, parts, service and warranty must be original and assembled at the factory as a compatible and functional system; parts, assembly and service cannot be from a 3rd party service provider. The system must include all required software, applications and programs to manage, schedule, operate, broadcast distribute and media feed from local and remote locations
CLIN 0001 – Media Server
IPTV and Digital Signage Platform for management, distribution, scheduling and archiving of live and on‐ demand content as well as digital signage content over IP networks. Includes Administration Portal for IP streams management, users permission, AES 128/256‐bit conditional access & DRM, integration with
Microsoft Active Directory, Digital Signage Director for central management, creation and scheduling of digital signs and signage campaigns, channel guide for live+VOD content. Includes IPTV browser player that supports MPEG‐1, MPEG‐2, MPEG‐4, H.264, H.265/HEVC SD and HD multicast / unicast streams.
Central and individual control of HD and 4K IPTV and digital signage end points. Additional capabilities include closed captions support, Personal Video Recording (PVR), usage analytics, emergency alert channels. Optional add‐ons available for video on demand (VOD) and Media Library for archiving IPTV content, mobile streaming to iOS and Android devices, personal TV middleware, network recording
(NDVR), virtual remote control for end‐points / set‐top‐boxes, automatically updating Electronic
Program Guide (EPG), clustering for multi‐site deployments and high‐availability configurations and streaming IPTV content to remote employees. Site license for 30 live channels and up to 100 concurrent browser users / 5,000 end‐points. At least 8 terabytes of local storage.
CLIN 0002 – Endpoint Devices
EP4 Standard Enterprise‐grade end‐point featuring dual 1080p HD decoding (live streams or video files), built‐in PoE support, RS‐232 port for TV Control and full integration with television platform for playback of live streams, on‐demand assets, personal recordings and playout of digital signs. Supported video formats: MPEG‐ 2 SD/HD, H.264 SD/HD. Video Outputs: HDMI (with embedded audio), Component, Composite via break‐out cable. Includes AES decryption license for content protection/DRM, IR remote, power supply and 6ft HDMI cable. Network and serial cables not included. Customer is responsible for applying network settings, labeling, wiring and final placement. At least 512 gigabytes of local storage.
CLIN 0003 – Endpoint Device License
The system must include all necessary licenses for use on the required endpoint devices
CLIN 0004 – Upgraded Warranty
Warranty must offer remote support 24 Hour a day, seven days a week, and 365 days of the year.
Warranties must extend to use of the equipment in our current geographical location (Japan).

CLIN 0005 ‐ Geographically separated Set‐up/Training
As the devices will be used in Japan, initial setup and training will need to be remote. Contractor must be able to provide this support during normal hours of operation 0800 to 1700 Japanese Standard Time zone, Monday through Friday.
