CRASH PROOF GATE REPLACEMENT

Statement of Work (SOW) For

Replace Crash Proof Gate JPRA White Bluff Site

Fairchild AFB, WA

1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE: The contractor shall provide all necessary tools, equipment, and materials required to remove and dispose of the existing heavy duty gate with opener and install a new automated aluminum trolley slide gate with opener at the JPRA White Bluff Site, Fairchild AFB, WA.

2. SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor shall complete all work, which includes furnishing all supervision, labor, material, equipment, and services, unless otherwise specified herein, required under this contract and in accordance with Unified Facilities Criteria 4-022-01 and 4-022-02. All work shall be performed in accordance with all Federal, State, local laws and regulations, manufacturer’s recommendations and this Statement of Work (SOW).

Contractor Shall:

- Provide certified technicians to perform requested work.

- Remove and Dispose of existing gate automation equipment and slide gate.

- Furnish and install a new 18ft – 20ft clear opening K4 rated aluminum trolley slide gate, 8ft tall with chain link infill plus 1ft of barbwire on aluminum stringers. Barbwire stringers shall not interfere with the operation of the gate.

- Furnish and install internal trolley gate hardware.

- Furnish and install new gate automation equipment.

- Furnish factory certified technician to perform all programming, commissioning, testing and training of new gate system.

- Furnish and install ANY enclosure panels required to close up gaps larger than a 2” width from existing fence to new gate.

- Reinstall all existing signage on new gate.

- Government expectation is for the contractor to utilize the existing gate support posts to attach trolley wheels for the new gate install. The government also expects the electrical enclosure to be re-used. Contractor shall verify that new electrical components will fit and notify the government if a new enclosure is required prior to contract award. No excavation or concrete work is anticipated for this project.

3. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY AND SERVICES: The government will provide access to utilities as needed.

4. GENERAL INFORMATION

4.1. HOURS OF OPERATION: Hours of operation are 0700-1630 Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays and any other designated down day. Work can be done at other than the normal hours of operation with the written approval of the Contracting Officer. The contractor shall coordinate in advance all hours of work and any service interruptions with Civil Engineering points of contact.

4.2. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: All personnel employed by the Contractor in the performance of this contract, or any representative of the Contractor entering the government installation, shall abide by all Fairchild Air Force Base security regulations.

4.3. Continuation of Mission Essential Functions: IAW DoDI 1100.22 (Policy and Procedures for Determining Workforce Mix), and any applicable Air Force implementation, unless otherwise directed by an authorized Government representative, it is determined that installation services provided under this contract are not mission essential for performance during a crisis.

5. PERFORMANCE PERIOD: Project shall not exceed 120 days after contract award.
