Attachment 1 - Specifications
Project: Closed Loop Condenser Kit, Brand Name or Equal to Columbus Instruments, LLC Micro- Oxymax Respirometer system
GENERAL INFORMATION
1. Scope of Work: Provide two closed loop condenser kits to replace condenser kits that are malfunctioning. The condenser kits need to fit the current Columbus Instruments, LLC Micro- Oxymax Respirometer system located in the Bioproducts Research Unit located in the Industrial Pilot Lab at 800 Buchanan St., Albany, CA 94710.
2. Background: The Oxymax Respirometer in the Industrial Pilot Lab is in a multiuser instrument that is used constantly. The components are subject to wear and tear. The condenser kits need to be replaced.
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
3. Technical Requirements: The contractor needs to provide the replacement condenser kits and instructions for replacing if needed. The support scientist that will be replacing the condenser kits has many years of experience operating the Oxymax Respirometer and has expertise in replacing damaged or worn components.
a) The condenser kits must exactly replace existing condenser kits.
b) The condenser kits must fit onto the government-owned Columbus Instruments LLC Micro
Oxymax Respirometer currently existing in the Industrial Pilot Lab located at USDA ARS WRRC, 800 Buchanan St., Albany, CA 94710.
c) The condenser kits must function as per recommendation of Columbus Instruments LLC, the OEM of the equipment.
4. Government Furnished: The Oxymax Respirometer is a government-owned instrument, and the new components will be replacements for the damaged/nonfunctioning components.
5. Deliverables / Schedule: 30 days after award.
6. Travel: No travel is required by the vendor. The new condenser kits will be replaced by the support scientist according to manufacturer instruction.
7. Contractor’s Key Personnel: Contractor’s personnel will be available to discuss installation of the condenser kits if needed.
8. Security Requirements: None. The condenser kits will be delivered by normal delivery routes.
9. Data Rights: Not applicable.
10. Section 508. Section 508 compliance will be met wherever needed.
