Statement of Work Lost Valley Road Resurfacing

Payette National Forest New Meadows Ranger District

March 6, 2023

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:

This project performs road reconditioning and aggregate placement on 33 miles of roads in vicinity of Lost Valley Reservoir and crushes aggregate at 2 gravel pits. Work includes culvert removal, placing rip rap, placing aggregate base and surface courses, road reconditioning, placing dust abatement, crushing aggregate base and surface course, installing culverts and signs, and all related work.

Location: The project is on the New Meadows District of the Payette National Forest. Work takes place on roads 50089, 50154, 50520, 50097, 50139, 50128, the Woodland Creek Pit, and the Sheep Creek Pit. The project is centered at Township 19N, Range 1W, Section 28 of the Boise Meridian. It is approximately 9 miles west of New Meadows, ID.

Period of Performance:

The base bid begins on the effective date of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) with a completion date by October 30th, 2023.

Optional Items in the contract begin on the effective date of the NTP and run through October 15, 2024. .

Government Furnished Property:

20,000 CY of aggregate surface course at the Woodland Creek Pit 5,000 CY of aggregate surface course at the Sheep Creek Pit 5,000 CY of aggregate surface course at the Sheep Creek Stockpile
