1.4. (2) Trailer‐borne Mobile AVBs shall be capable of stopping a minimum 15,000 lbs. at 40 miles per hour (MPH).

1.5. Minimum cabled or preferred upgraded to wireless remote controllers are required to activate both (2) Trailer‐borne Mobile AVBs; barriers cannot activate automatically/without human direction.

1.6. Power supply required to operate in addition to self‐sustaining battery and/or fuel generator power supply, the (2) Trailer‐borne Mobile AVBs shall use Uninterrupted Power Supply

(UPS) and be no more than a 100 amp 110 volt single phase service. Single electrical subpanel to be installed on 1 side of the roadway where Barrier is located.

1.7. (2) Trailer‐borne Mobile AVBs shall be rated ASTM F2656‐07 minimum P2 to maximum P3.

Base Year Maintenance ‐ 12 months of service, paid monthly

1.0. Mobile AVB Specifications. The contractor shall deliver two (2), 12‐foot Trailer‐borne Mobile AVBs with the following specifications:

Option Year 1 ‐ 12 months of service, paid monthly

Option Year 2 ‐ 12 months of service, paid monthly

1.1. (2) Trailer‐borne Mobile AVBs shall provide 4 seconds for safe driver stopping time (yellow then red signal barrier).

1.2. (2) Trailer‐borne Mobile AVBs shall fully raise no less than 2 seconds from when the barrier is activated to allow for safe driver stopping time, and the barriers must deploy and retract using automated controls systems.

1.3. The Trailer‐borne Mobile AVBs shall have vehicle presence detection that prevents all FDB operations, i.e., normal and emergency mode.
