About this file

This document outlines the salient characteristics for an integrated four transceiver communication case solicited by the Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command. The case must be a portable SATCOM-on-the-move system equipped to support simultaneous operations of four military radio transceivers, including one PRC117G, one PRC158, one PRC160 and one PRC161. It must provide uninterruptible power, voice and data connectivity for the transceivers, as well as storage for additional equipment. The case is required to operate in temperatures from -40 to +70 degrees Celsius on AC or DC power sources from vehicles, aircraft, generators or local grids. It must incorporate features such as an internal mount, capacity for additional amplification, automatic level control of audio inputs, and an antenna with 40m downlead for Iridium connectivity. Dimensions may not exceed 36"x22"x20" and weight must be approximately 135 pounds. A three-year warranty is also required.
