C.2 Reinforced three ply construction consisting of one sheet of vinyl on top, a polyester or nylon base fabric in the center and a sheet of vinyl on the bottom. The vinyl sheets are to be laminated to the polyester/nylon fabric. The polyester/nylon base fabric shall have an 8 x 5 count construction or comparable for material reinforcement. Fabric must be supple, easy to cut.

C.3 Color frosty clear/translucent white (will allow light to pass through) C.4 Size 40 FT X 100 FT C.5 Fire Retardency Manufactured to meet requirements of NFPA 701 Test Method 1 (large scale test) and material shall be marked SELF EXTINGUISHING C.6 Material must be capable of bonding when using an adhesive equivalent to 847 SIG from 3M (used for bonding vinyl plastics, nitrile rubbers, leather and metal to themselves and other materials) C.7 Vinyl shall meet following requirements:

a. Average thickness .014 (Test Method ASTM D-1777 UR)

b. Nominal weight 7.0 oz/sq.yd (Test Method ASTM D-3776 UR)

c. Yarns per inch average Warp of 9, Fill of 5 (Test Method ASTM D-3775 UR)

d. Minimum Tensile strength (average), 1 strip 60 lbs longitudinal and 45 lbs transverse (Test method ASTM D751 UR, Procedure B)

e. Minimum Tear Strength (average) - 30 lbs longitudinal and 30 lbs transverse (Test method ASTM D1004 UR)

f. Minimum Hydrostatic Resistance 200 psi average (Test method ASTM D751 UR, Procedure B)

g. Minimum Puncture Resistance (average) 130 lbs (Test method ASTM D751 UR)

h. Low Temperature Bend Test - pass at -30°F (Test method ASTM D2136 UR)

i. Linear Dimensional Change (Shrinkage) Test - <3% at 180-200°F (Test method ASTM D1204 UR) C.8 ITEM 0002: CERTIFICATION/DATA REPORT. CERTIFICATION OF COMPLETION, SEE EXHIBIT A, SEQ A001.

D PRESERVATION/PACKAGING/PACKING

D.1 D4 PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY (COMMERCIALLY PACKAGED ITEMS). Pack each roll in commercial box. Palletize all boxes. Boxes should not overhang pallets or exceed 54" in height.

D.2 IN ADDITION TO ABOVE REQUIREMENTS, The vendor shall package material by rolling the material around a 3" carboard tube.

D.3 Folding requirement-in width direction (40'), fold edges to the center to a finished width of approximately 30", then roll in length (100') direction onto 3" core. Do not fold in 100' direction before rolling onto core.
