DEFENSE DISTRIBUTION CENTER

SAN JOAQUIN SITE TRACY, CA.

STATEMENT OF WORK

Contractor is to furnish all labor, material, transportation, supplies and supervision necessary to provide eight (8) each 20 and 40-yard open top cardboard dumpsters (Roll- Offs); provide and install five (5) each cardboard compactors with enclosed dumpsters, provide the transportation services to remove full dumpsters for delivery to a recycling vendor, and delivery of replacement empty dumpsters. Scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following:

1.0 Provide and Locate eight (8) each Cardboard Recycling Dumpsters (Roll-Offs)

1.0 The dumpsters shall be provided to the Government on a rental basis

1.1 Shall be delivered to warehouses 6, 22, 28, 30 (2 each), 56 and building 100

1.1.1 Total quantity of dumpsters supplied shall be 6

1.1.1.1 2 each 20 yard capacity

1.1.1.2 6 each 40 yard capacity

1.1.2 Specific locations at each warehouse shall be designated by the CGA office (POC: Robby Angus 209-839-5318)

1.1.3 The contractor shall have a dumpster located at each location within 1 day of the removal of the existing dumpster

1.1.3.1 Removal of existing dumpsters shall be coordinated through the CGA Office (POC: Robby Angus 209-839-5318)

2.0 Provide, Locate, and Install 5 each Cardboard Compactors with Dumpsters

2.0 The compactors and associated dumpsters shall be provided to the

Government on a rental/lease basis

2.0.1 Contractor shall be responsible for maintenance and repair of the compactor and associated components

2.1 Each compactor shall be fitted with a hopper and 40 yard enclosed dumpster

2.2 The Contractor shall install each compactor in existing locations using existing concrete slabs, loading platforms, electrical circuits, etc.

2.2.1 Contractor shall terminate the compactor electrical service conduit and conductors to the existing Government service disconnect

2.2.1.1 Contractor shall configure each compactor to enable

connection to the existing electrical circuit

2.2.2 Contractor shall mount the compactor’s control panel at the location where the compactor hopper is loaded by the machine operator

2.2.3 Contractor shall anchor the compactor to the concrete slab as required

2.2.4 The total footprint of the compactor and dumpster combined shall not be larger than the existing concrete pad (typically 12’ wide by 42’ long).

2.2.5 The contractor shall have a compactor installed at each location within 3 days of the removal of the existing compactor

2.2.5.1 Temporary open top dumpsters shall be provided at each location if installation of the replacement compactors exceeds 1 day after the removal of the existing compactors

2.2.5.2 Removal of existing compactors shall be coordinated

through the CGA Office (POC: Robby Angus 209-839-5318)

2.3 Existing electrical services and required compactor sizes are as follows:

2.3.1 Whse. 30: 480v, 3ph, 60A (Marathon RJ575HD or equivalent)

2.3.2 Whse. 56: 480v, 3ph, 30A (Marathon RJ450 or equivalent)

2.3.3 Whse. 22 and 28: 208v, 3ph, 30A (Marathon RJ450 or equivalent)

3.0 Provide Transportation and Recycling Services

3.0 Contractor shall provide services for removal of full dumpsters for delivery to a recycling vendor and replacement empty dumpsters at the Government’s request

3.0.1 Requests will be made by phone or email message

3.0.1.1 For routine requests the Contractor shall remove and

replace full dumpsters within 24 hours of the request

3.0.1.2 For priority requests the Contractor shall remove and replace full dumpsters the same day as the request

3.0.2 The contractor shall weigh all outgoing loads and the weight slip shall be dropped off at Bldg. 31 (Truck Control) prior to departing the installation.

For the period starting 1 October 2020 and ending 30 September 2021.

4.0 Authorities

No person other than the Contracting Officer has the authority to make any changes to this contract action that impact cost or schedule. Authority from the Contracting Officer to the contractor to make changes that impact cost or schedule will be in the form of an official, signed modification.

5.0 The electrical installation shall be performed in a neat and professional manner. All conduit shall be installed level/plumb; run parallel/perpendicular to the building and/or column lines, and be sized ¾” or larger. All conduit couplings shall be of the compression type. All conduit, fixtures and junction boxes shall be properly secured to the building structure.

6.0 All work shall comply with the current NFPA/NEC code, including NFPA 70E.

7.0 Contractor is subject to all DDJC health and safety regulations and DLA security requirements.

8.0 CONTRACTOR MANPOWER REPORTING The contractor shall report all contractor labor hours (including subcontractor labor hours) required for performance of services provided under this contract for the Defense Logistics Agency via a secure data collection site. The contractor is required to completely fill in all required data fields using the following web address: https://www.ecmra.mil/. Reporting inputs will be for labor executed during the period of performance during each Government fiscal year (FY), which runs 1 October through 30 September. While inputs may be reported at any time during the FY, all data shall be reported no later than 31 October of each calendar year.
