SYNPOSIS:
The United States Department of Agriculture(USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Pasture Systems & Watershed Management Research Unit (PSWMRU), University Park, PA 16802 requires self-contained air flow filtration systems.
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE: The primary objective of issuing this Combined Synopsis Solicitation is to seek information from vendors with the capability of providing the airflow intake benchtop booths as specified to be used to remove harmful dust particulates from operators breathing zones and eliminate cross contamination of adjacent processes & equipment.
REQUIREMENTS:
Need: Quantity of 4 - Airflow intake benchtop booths for use with soil or plant grinder to trap dust particulates with the following:
· 2 Units with motor cover and switches on left side
· 2 Units with motor cover and switches on right side Minimum specifications for each:
· Evenly distribute airflow across perforated work surface and vented back
· Full footprint: approximately 33”D x 60”L x 80”H
· Work Surface Area: approx. 28.5” x 48” with 5” perforated C-channel grates
· Patented design 3/16” x 1/2” ventilated perforations
· Table Capacity: 500-1,000 lbs. distributed weight
· Cabinet: 12-16-gauge uni-body construction
· Finish: Electro-galvanized metal
· 8’ three phase cable on back of booth for hookup to building electricity
· Grommet pass through for grinder cord to a 115v duplex, located on outside of booth near power switches.
· HEPA filter (99.97% efficient to 0.3 microns), accessible to user for proper maintenance
· Thermally protected manual motor starters; NEMA 12/4X enclosure
· Motor: 2 HP 208/230/460 volt, 3 phase, TEFC blower motor 6.2/3.1 amps
· Variable frequency drive: 0- 2,250 CFM – self contained, w/ clean filter capture velocity at least 200 feet per minute
· Filter maintenance gauge
· Sound Level: 72 to 76 dB or less at operator work zone
· Silencer scoop to redirect exhaust and further minimize dBs
· Helps meet OSHA Standard 1910.1000 (air contaminants)
· Warranty: 10 years from date of purchase, parts and labor
· Startup testing and operator training
Need: Quantity 1 – Airflow intake walk-in booth for use with large soil or plant grinder to trap dust particulates with the following:
Minimum specifications for each:
· Evenly distribute airflow across perforated back wall
· Full footprint: approximately 12’D x 10’L x 10’H, workspace footprint: 8’D x 8’L x 8’H
· two 48” x 96” power panels with non-sparking perforated aluminum grates
· Patented design 3/16” x 1/2” ventilated perforations
· aluminum side and roof panels, 14 gauge uni-body construction
· easily removable dust pans for cleaning
· Grommet pass through for grinder cord with three phase 460v junction box and conduit
· HEPA filter (99.97% efficient to 0.3 microns), accessible to user for proper maintenance
· Thermally protected manual motor starters; NEMA 12/4X enclosure
· 4 standard airflow motors: 2 HP 208/230/460 volt, 3 phase, TEFC blower motor 6.2/3.1 amps
· 1 additional motor to provide regain air from front to back of booth.
· 10,000 nominal CFM – self contained
· Filter maintenance gauge
· Side sound blankets for noise reduction
· Internal booth lighting
· Helps meet OSHA Standard 1910.1000 (air contaminants)
· Warranty: 5 years from date of purchase, parts and labor
· Startup testing and operator training
DELIVERY:
Delivery is required within 11 weeks or order FOB Origin Include delivery freight and set-up fee in the quote.

· Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Electronic responses are mandatory. Information provided will not be used as a part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. Interested vendors who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. A determination by the Government not to award this proposed contract action, based on this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
