STATEMENT OF NEED
PATIENT DATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Background:
The Patient Data Monitoring and Management systems provides predictive decision support software intuitive to clinical support. For example, vital sign monitoring, pressure monitoring, and gas delivery monitoring. This enables the
Anesthesia Provider to make decisions proactively, maintain patient safety, and accelerate recovery time. The patient monitor must bridge clinical and IT worlds to simplify the workflow for clinicians, by giving access to the solutions that help deliver efficient and effective care.
SCOPE OF WORK/NEED:
The Patient Data Management Systems must meet the following specifications and have the following features:
• 19” LCD TFT display with a wide viewing angle that provides high resolution waveforms and data presentation.
• Integrates the display and processing unit into one device.
• Connection for external slave display (DVI-I port)
• Drug, ventilation, hemodynamic and oxygenation calculations
• Intuitive user interface
• Able to host Windows application, Philips application, Third party applications, and Hospital owned and developed software.
• Able to be maintained by the Hospital’s IT department
• Color coded waves and numerics
• Flexible screen layout (flexible display of measurement info.)
• Touchscreen
• Temperature, height, weight configuration
• Case Specific profiles
• Automatic alarm limits and options to adjust them
• Bed-to-Bed overview
• Capable of functioning in a wireless infrastructure
• Graphical measurements
• Timers application allows provider to setup a timer notification
• Independent display interface
The Patient Data Monitoring and Management system must be able to work with:

• Sounds: Audible feed back for user input prompt tone QRS tone, or SpO2 modulation tone 4 different alarm sounds, Remote tone for alarms on other beds in network, Tone for timer expired
Delivery:
• Vendor shall deliver six Patient Data Monitor and Management Systems no later than the 30 days from date of award.
• The Monitors are to be delivered to Anesthesia RM c260-1 Mon.-Fri.
(Excluding National Holidays), 8am- 4:30pm.
