Statement of Work (SOW)
Procurement of Recovery Pumps and Related Components for DDRV DLA Distribution Richmond, VA
1. Background:
1.1 Work Location:
DLA Distribution Richmond, VA (DDRV); 8000 Jefferson Davis Highway, Richmond, VA 22297-5900.
2 Project History:
DLA Distribution Richmond (DDRV) has identified a critical need to procure HFC-227 Recovery Pumps and Related Equipment to support its Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) Cylinder Maintenance Division. The recovery of HFC gases is essential to maintain operational readiness, ensure compliance with environmental safety standards, and support DoD mission-critical applications.
The DDRV ODS Cylinder Maintenance Division is responsible for safe handling, processing, and refurbishment of compressed gas cylinders, which include essential refrigerants and fire suppression agents such as Halon 1301, Halon 1211, and HFC-227. To sustain and enhance these operations, the procurement of specialized Getz Equipment is required, ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure and continued compliance with DoD and EPA regulations.
2. Scope of Work:
2.1 Procurement Requirements:
The contractor shall supply HFC-227 recovery/recycle system and related components to DLA Distribution Richmond, VA, as specified in Table 1 below:
