Statement of Work

For Construction Services March 20, 2023

1.0 Particulars:

1.1 Title: WS Pocatello Supply Depot Lighting Upgrades (Warehouse and Building Perimeter)

1.2 Location: 238 E. Dillon Street

Pocatello, Idaho 83201

1.3 Project Background: Pocatello Supply Depot (PSD) is located on the West side of Pocatello in a light industrial area near residential housing and Idaho State University, Pocatello Campus. The facility was constructed in the early 1930s.

The PSD manufactures and provides specialized materials and services which are not readily available from private commercial sources. These are typically products that are needed in such low quantities or at such infrequent intervals that commercial sources have shown little interest in providing them.

The existing light fixtures in the warehouse area and around the exterior building perimeter have reached the end of their useful life. A total of 48 light fixtures are needed for removal and replacement.

1.4 Scope of the project includes the following: USDA needs construction services to remove 35 existing high bay Mercury Vapor and Metal Halide light fixtures in the warehouse area, and to replace with energy efficient LED light fixtures. A total of 13 existing Metal Halide light fixtures around the exterior building perimeter need to be removed and replaced with 13 LED fixtures that are directed towards the ground to reduce light pollution and to conserve energy. Items that are unclear within this SOW shall be brought to the attention of the CO and the EPM for clarification.
