About this file
This statement of work describes a requirement for a contractor to replace an existing heat exchanger at a naval facility in Cutler, Maine. The contractor will remove the 1994 vintage Graham UFX-12 heat exchanger and dispose of all materials, leaving the work area clean. The contractor must then acquire and install a replacement plate type heat exchanger, modifying connection locations as needed. The replacement must be nearly identical to the UFX-12 and meet or exceed its specifications. The work is to be completed within eight hours of taking the system offline to minimize downtime. The contractor will provide all new installation materials, manuals, drawings, and warranties. The Navy will inspect the completed installation for leaks or defects before acceptance. This requirement appears to align with solicitation N7027223Q0033 to provide a replacement heat exchanger at the Cutler facility.
