Question 1: PART OF THE INSTALLATION PIPE SUPPORTS Question 1a: Is NIST able to provide photographs of the install area?

Response 1a: NCNR can provide photographs if needed. However, the available photos are already shown in Appendix A of the Technical Specification section of the Statement of Work Question 1b: What structure is required to support this pipe?

Response 1b: A simple stand similar to what is shown in the pictures of the technical specification would be technically acceptable.

Question 2: SPOOL ASSEMBLY Question 2a: Is the flex section required to be braided?

Response 2a: Yes Question 2b: What are the technical specification requirements for the hose regarding pressures, bend radius, etc.?

Response 2b: The design decision up to the supplier based on the requirements of the flexible section manufacturer considering LN2 service.

Question 2c: What is the required method to achieve the 90-degree bend in the tube toward the male end?

Response 2c: Any method to achieve this bend that is consistent with good practice for cryogenic nitrogen systems is acceptable Question 2d: The provided drawing indicates reusing the male bayonet fitting. Will the fitting be removed and sent to the vendor for assembly?

Response 2d: The vendor is responsible for removing existing equipment as well as installing new equipment

QUESTION 3: QA PLAN

Question 3a: What tests will be performed or are required?

Response 3a: This information in provided in section 5.2 of the technical specification Question 3b: Are Material Test Reports on raw materials required? If so, which components?

Response 3b: Material test reports should be provided for any pressure bearing components
