About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for underwater hull cleaning and inspection services for three U.S. Coast Guard vessels: CGC Mustang, CGC Naushon, and CGC Liberty. The work requires trained personnel to verify danger tags, conduct pre-clean inspections with video documentation, clean the hull and underwater components including shafts, props, rudders, fins, and sea chest cavities (up to 18 inches from sea chest), and perform post-clean inspections with video documentation. The contractor must submit a final report with completed forms and inspection videos via email, ensuring media is viewable on the CG network.

The work is to be performed at USCG Base Ketchikan in Alaska on May 5, 2025. The SOW references several Coast Guard manuals and technical specifications that must be followed, including Equipment Tag-Out Procedure COMDTINST M9077.1, Diving Program Manual COMDTINST M3150.1, and U.S. Coast Guard TS 081 for Waterborne Underwater Hull Cleaning. The contractor is responsible for assessing and renewing sea chest hardware as needed, with hardware to be supplied by the contractor. Mr. Jason Devin serves as the Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COR), while MKC Steven Newsom is the designated point of contact for scheduling and local logistics.
