9. Items of Work and Construction Details Items of work to be performed in conformance with this specification and the construction details therefore are:
a. Subsidiary Item, Construction Surveys
(1) In Section 5, Construction surveys, Method 2 shall apply.
(2) The contractor is not required to provide survey records at the completion of work.
(3) All surveys shall proceed from benchmarks, reference points and /or stakes set or established by the Government.
(4) In Section 3, Quality of Work, measurements for establishing the location of structures shall be to the nearest 0.1 foot or as determined in the field by the engineer.
(5) Separate payment will not be made for this item of work. Compensation of this item will be included in the payment for the appropriate bid item for Rock Riprap, Timber Headwall, Site Preparation, and Sand-Cement Bag Wall.
