10 YD Dump Trucks with Operators

AG-9JGP-S-17-0131

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation (SF-1449) will not be issued.

The solicitation number is AG-9JGP-S-17-0131, and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).

Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-80.

This solicitation is a total Small Business set-aside and the associated NAICS code is 532412 and the size standard is $32.5.

10 YD Dump Trucks w/Operators 2 trucks with operators for 10 days to haul slash and debris (Approximate start date June 26, 2017)

3 trucks with operators for 10 days to haul materials (Approximate start date July 10, 2017)

Work hours will be 0600 to 1630 per day, work to be Monday through Friday. This will be, call when needed to haul material and will receive a phone call 24 hours in advance notice. Project located in Brush Creek, California.

Contractor shall provide equipment required to meet contract requirements. If, equipment breaks down during daily work hours, Contractor shall make repairs or replace dump truck within 12 hours. The moving Contractor’s equipment, supplies to and from job sites, moving equipment for repairs or convience during contract period shall be at Contrctor’s expense.

SUBMISSION OF QUOTES

Offerors shall submit quotes to the office specified in this Solicitation on or before the exact time specified in the Solicitation.

The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the provision.

The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items.

Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer.

The clause at 52.212-4, (May 2015) Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the clause.

The clause at 52.212-5, (Jan 2016) Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding which, if any, of the additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to the acquisition.

At a minimum, the response to this solicitation shall include:

(1) Solicitation Number

(2) Name and address of offeror on company business letterhead

(3) Address quote to Attn: Teresa Reniff, Contracting Officer, USDA Forest Service, 875 Mitchell Ave., Oroville, CA 95965, or Fax Quotes to: (530)532-1210, email quotes not accepted

(4) DUN AND BRADSTREET NUMBER to verify System for Award Management (SAM). Award can only be made to a vendor with a valid in SAM.gov registration. (www.sam.gov)

(5) Acknowledgement of any Solicitation amendments

52.212-2 --Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Oct 2014)

(a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers:

(b) A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer’s specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award.

Offers are due Friday, June 23, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time.
