Q1: What facilities are involved on each District and where are they located?

A1: A partial list of the facilities include the following: potable water systems, waste water systems, offices, warehouses, picnic areas, campgrounds, bunkhouses, ranger houses, remote guard stations, garages, sheds, barns, shops, storage buildings, toilets stations.

These type of facilities are located all over the entire Rio Grande National Forest.

Estimated total facilities on Divide: 55 Estimated total facilities on Conejos Peak: 30 Estimated total facilities on Saguache: 30

Q2: How will the electrical inspection and plumbing inspections be handled, and does the handy man need to be licensed in the previously mentioned fields of work?

A2: Inspections - License is not a requirement, however Inspections are to be to current code standards and are the responsibility of the Handyman contractor solely. As stated in the contract, All work performed under this statement of work shall be in compliance with all appropriate local, state, and federal rules, regulations, codes and laws, such as the International Plumbing Code, National Fire Code, American Disability Act, National Electrical Code as examples.

The Contractor shall ensure Contractor personnel are adequately trained or certified to meet the requirements of this statement of work.

Q3: What type of warranty is required for new construction work?

A3: A 1 year workmanship warranty is required for all new construction. The warranty period begins when all work has been accepted.
