1. The schedule of Items, as originally issued, is deleted and the attached is sutstituted.

2. Clause C-1 a., is changed to read as follows:

Work consists of road reconditioning and placement of crushed aggregate surfacing on approximately 7 miles of Road 250 from Noe Creek Campground 7 miles west. Quarry development, rock crushing and pit development also are included. A government furnished quarry is located ½ mile west of Kelly Forks Work Center.

3. Clause F-2, is amended to read as follows, “…(c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than September 3, 2010.

103 - Scope of Work

103.01 Delete

Delete all but subsection 103.01 Intent of Contract.

Work consists of road reconditioning and placement of crushed aggregate surfacing on approximately 7 miles of Road 250 from Noe Creek Campground to 7 miles West. Quarry development, rock crushing and pit restoration also are included.

A government-furnished quarry is located ½ mile west of Kelly Forks Work Center in T39N, R9E, Section 13.

Reconditioning includes scarifying as specified, blading, cleaning ditches and catch basins, and preparing bridge approaches for gravel. Quarry development consists of clearing, grubbing, stripping and storing topsoil, if necessary, removing overburden, constructing an access road/safety bench, conducting restoration activities as specified, and all other activities and incidental work required.

The Contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work according to the contract.

Traffic control is incidental to Section 151. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work according to the contract.

Optional Item # 1 – consists of reconditioning and resurfacing an additional 2.8 mile from milepost 31.8 to the Bungalow Bridge.

GENERAL NOTES:

1) Disposal site is at Death Creek.

2) Water draft sites will be identified in field.

3) Turnouts will be staked in the field. They shall have 15' transitions.

4) Project is located next to stream. Care shall be taken not to sidecast material into live water.

5) Crusher site will be scarified to a depth of 4" and reseeded upon completion of project according to Section 625.
