Questions and Answers as a result of the May 25, 2016, pre-proposal conference/site visit at Moore Air Base, Edinburg, Texas:
Question 1: to complete the project with minimal disruption....the rental chiller must be reconnected right where the vertical piping meets the horizontal piping. This needs to be the first task. Is this process allowed? Response: Yes, paragraph 3.4 of the contract scope of work recommends this.
Question 2: does the piping system need to have piping to connect a second chiller installed in the future? Response: If a second chiller is installed in the future, it would be installed at the location of the quick connects for a future temporary chiller.
Question 3: what is the exact location for the rental connections? Response: See paragraph 1.4.6 of the contract scope of work.
Question 4: who is responsible to remove salvage chiller and piping? Response: See paragraphs 1.4 and
3.3 of the contract scope of work.
Question 5: will the chiller connect to the building system controls? Response: See paragraph 1.4.9 of the contract scope of work.
