3. Controlled by 3 Type K thermocouples and a 3-term temperature controller Load Cell

1. Max load of 5 kg

2. Resolution of 0.01g

3. Fitted on a stand-alone table minimize vibrations from the exhaust fan and provide stable result

4. Digital display of weight and electronic tare Gas Analyzers

1. Oxygen (Paramagnetic)

a. Drift of less than 15 ppm in 30 minutes

b. Noise of less than 30 ppm in 30 minutes

2. Carbon Monoxide (Infrared 0-1%)

a. Less than 100 ppm noise and drift over 30 minutes

b. T10-90 response time of 9-12 s

3. Carbon Dioxide (Infrared 0-10%)

a. Less than 100 ppm noise and drift over 30 minutes

b. T10-90 response time of 9-12 s

4. Ability to incorporate and install high performance CO and CO2 analyzers with T10-90 response of less than 1s.

Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer (FTIR) gas analyzer

1. The FTIR gas analyzer is an integral part of the system which allows simultaneous measurement of up to 50 gas compounds including: water vapor, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, nitric oxide, nitrogen peroxide, nitrous oxide, and ammonia.

2. Spectral range of 500-5500 cm-1

3. Scan resolution of 4 cm-1

4. Ability to provide time resolved results with hot extractive sampling

5. Contains rhodium-gold plated mirrors to ensure performance with high water vapor concentrations and corrosive gasses

6. Software to identify and quantify up to 50 gas components Smoke Measurement

1. Laser system for smoke obscuration analysis

2. 0.5 mW Helium Neon laser

3. Twin photodiodes for main and reference beam detection

4. Supplied with alignment cradle and 0.3 and 0.8 neutral density filters for calibration Instrument

1. Anti-vibration mounting on the test area to improve the performance of the weight measurement

2. 2 Specimen Holders: Designed for specimens 100 mm x 100 mm x 50 mm thick. One each of horizontal and vertical orientations, complete with 4 ceramic and 4 blanket backing boards.

3. Spark ignition system: Uses a 10 kV spark generator, fitted with a safety cut-out device.

4. Exhaust gas system manufactured of stainless steel for long life and comprises a stainless steel hood, duct and ring sampler.

5. Exhaust Fan Variable speed exhaust fan, fitted with an orifice plate flow measurement device, by means of a differential pressure transducer.

6. Heat Flux Meter for setting the irradiance of the conical heater.

7. Calibration Burner to calibrate the rate of heat release measured by the apparatus using methane of 99.5% purity, controlled with a mass flow meter

8. Shutter system controlled by a manual lever at the front of the instrument to shield the specimen from radiation at the beginning of the test.

9. Protection doors to protect the operator Gas Sampling

1. For the O/CO/CO2 detectors, a ring sampling probe, a gas train to cool and dry exhaust gases and remove carbon dioxide. It includes particulate filters, a refrigerant cold trap, a pump, drying columns and flow control instrumentation
