Wetland Reserve Program (WRP)

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), an agency of the United States Department of Agriculture, is seeking contractor(s) to provide services to restore suitable vegetative cover on a permanent conservation easement that it holds under authority of the Wetland Reserve Program (WRP). The purpose of the WRP is to protect and restore degraded wetlands by re-establishing historic hydrology and native vegetation to the extent possible for the site. Objective/Scope: Timeline of the project will be 5 years, generally speaking, the site preparation will start as soon as possible in the spring of 2016 and continue through 2018 when the first seeding will occur.
