Questions and Answers, AG-046W-S-13-0037

1. It appears you are only looking for 1 individual to manage and consult on this project, is that accurate? (i.e. ITM Group would not need to provide the labor/staff needed to take and record actual inventory, only evaluate and recommend on the processes currently in place)

That is accurate. The contractor will not have hands on or physical account for personal property items. The roles of the Inventory Takers (Custodian), Accountable Property Officers, and reports of status to the Property Management Specialists will be carried out with oversight by the contractor. The contractor’s proposal is their best approach to meeting the disclosed inventory requirement (see exhibits). Staffing is exclusively the territory of the contractor’s approach, experience and efficacy to be shown in their proposal.

2. Would you prefer offerors keep things simple and only return form SF-1449 and the experience questionnaire or a full multipage proposal with those items embedded into it?

The SF-1449’s primary use is for submitting your pricing. Contractor’s proposal can be a separate document and must indicate ability of approach, knowledge of the requirement, and clear meeting of the minds (agency need and the offeror’s ability to meet the agency need).

3. My company has no federal contracting experience. Would it be appropriate to provide the resume’s / work experience of the individual(s) the prospective contractor has in mind to perform the contract work?

Yes.

4. What type of contract vehicle will be issued for this award?

Purchase Order.

5. Is there a dollar value available for this work?

I am not permitted to share the Government estimate for this work. We are required to post on FBO any requirement estimated to cost > $25,000.00. (Base and option years are considered cumulatively).

File details come from the government source that posted it. Updated .
