QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:

Q. Barbed and Barbless Wire have the gauge and type but not length of how long each roll should be. How long should these rolls be?

A. 80 rods for both Barbed and Barbless Wire.

Q. EZ Brace and EZ Brace Wings are listed under the Schedule of Items. Does it need to be brand specific?

A. The brand doesn’t necessarily matter as long as it is similar to the EZ Brand specs.

Q. The Wire Stays listed, are they for a standard 4 foot fence?

A. No, they are going to be used for a 36 inch (3 foot fence).

Q. On the 16 foot rails, 3 inch diameter unpeeled, there can be a slight variation of plus or minus 1 inch. Is that okay?

A. Yes, it is okay to have plus or minus 1 inch in diameter.

Q. On the 1 inch float valves, what material would be needed? What is this going to be used for?

A. Brass would probably be best to use for the float valves. They are going to be used for the watering troughs for cattle out on the range.

Q. On the 1 ¼” Poly Pipe, 160 PSI (100 foot rolls), it is listed as 600. How many rolls are needed/wanted?

A. We are looking for 60, 100 foot rolls to equal 6000 feet.

Q. For the Jacks that are precut at 5 ½ feet, do they need to be treated or untreated?

A. They will need to be treated.

Q. Some have advised that the industry standard is 17 foot poles, not 16 feet. Is 17 foot poles okay?

A. 17 foot poles are acceptable.
