COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION IAW FAR 12.603
SOLICITATION NUMBER: AG-0109-S-17-0055
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested based on the requirements outlined in this combined synopsis/solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued.
This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), for a firm fixed price type contract. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95.
Period of Performance Information Embark with up to six passengers from Petersburg, AK harbor on June 19, 2017, and head to West Kuiu Island via Chatham Strait. Return to Petersburg, AK harbor on June 27, 2017.

Description of Requirements:
Transport and lodge six passengers on an excursion from Petersburg to west Kuiu Island via Chatham Straits and back.
This excursion is for monitoring lands to address concerns regarding increased marine debris at remote outfitter locations and archaeological sites, and to monitor increased uses of Tebenkof Bay and Kuiu Wilderness areas. The contracted vessel will return the passengers to Petersburg upon completion of mission.
Transport or tow an 18’ Government-owned skiff for crew transportation to and from the shore for daily monitoring trips. This is provided in Petersburg, and operated by USFS personnel.
Haul an estimated 3,000 lbs or 10 cubic yards of marine debris from remote shores back to Petersburg for disposal.
Provide heated berthing facilities (no linens necessary; passenger provided) and galley facilities. Contractor will prepare three meals per day for the passengers in the galley, starting with lunch on June 19 and ending with lunch on June 27. Food is provided by the USFS.
Prior to award, USFS personnel will certify the contracted vessel to transport USFS personnel. Must comply with all applicable regulations. The United States Coast Guard will receive any resulting contract for review.

(2) Technical: Please submit photos of the vessel exterior (including name), berthing facilities, lavatory facilities, and galley facilities as part of the quote.
Experience and Technical, when combined, are equal to price.
