About this file

This document is Addendum #1 for RFQ 25-4149 issued by the Smart Bus Procurement Department on February 19, 2025, addressing clarification requests for a technology procurement opportunity. The addendum provides specific details about hardware requirements, including acceptance of equivalent devices from manufacturers like HP or Lenovo, with strict specifications for laptop and computer equipment such as micro form factor dimensions (H:7in, D:7in, W:1.42in) and storage configurations. The procurement seeks devices with specific technical parameters, including 512GB SSD drives, memory configuration options, and warranty specifications.

The addendum emphasizes key procurement requirements, including a 5-year warranty with accident damage coverage for laptops and standard manufacturer warranty for other devices. The solicitation requires good faith efforts from vendors, even if they are not a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE). Vendors are instructed to return an acknowledgment of the addendum with their proposal, indicating a collaborative approach to meeting the agency's technological needs. The document suggests flexibility in device selection, provided that submitted equipment meets the specified hardware requirements and physical dimensions.
