| Refurbish PMC VALVES. |
| MSC NORFOLK (>150K): |
1. Statement of Work:
1.1.1 Provide the services of Propulsion system Inc. (OEM), an ABS recognized Marine Propulsion shafting repair facility to refurbish two PMC Valves back to OEM Specification PMC Valve currently located at MSC warehouse Norfolk Virginia and will be shipped at government expense from warehouse to PSI facility. PSI to package crate and ship the newly refurbish PMC valves back to MSC warehouse Norfolk Virginia.
1.1.2 Contractor shall open inspect and refurbish the two propeller hubs using only OEM procedures and supported technical manual with contractor provided OEM parts. Note: PMC valves are critical item and are needed to support the USNS Catawba upcoming dry-docking. Refurbishment shall include the machining, honing, polishing, boring, skin cutting and the replacement of all associated internal soft components to return the PMC valve to OEM specification.
1.1.3 Contractor shall, conduct all required in shop test and operational of the two PMC Valves and verify each valves meets OEM Specification. A written report shall be provided at the completion of the refurbishment process to the port engineer specifying the valves meets OEM requirements.
1.1.4 Contractor shall, following satisfactory in shop testing of the two PMC Valves, prepare the Valves in accordance with OEM Procedure, crate the valves in separate crate and ship to the designated MSC Norfolk warehouse as directed by the port engineer.
