About this file

This document outlines the minimum salient characteristics for a shooting performance system solicited under solicitation number M0068124Q0002 by the United States Marine Corps. The system must be able to differentiate shooting mechanics, identify deficiencies, and recommend remedies through data and batch reporting. It must easily operate from and connect to a tablet between 7 to 8 inches in size via Bluetooth. The system replaces the bolt carrier group and charging handle in weapons like the M16A4 and M4 without significant added weight. It incorporates an auto-resetting trigger and mounts internally without cables or tools. The tablet case must protect from 4-foot falls and function in bright conditions while the system, tablet, and case all include at least a 1-year warranty covering normal wear.
