Salient Characteristics The USGS Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility at Stennis Space Center, MS needs to purchase compact gas purge bubbler systems to be installed at remote gaging stations for measuring water levels. It is imperative that this equipment meet or exceed the requirements below.

This equipment is being introduced into our warehouse stock.

HS-40 AIR FORCE COMPACT CONTINUOUS BUBBLER

SHALL:

1. Be a compact, constant bubbler system.

2. Be a self-contained system.

3. Be a desiccant free system.

4. Have a micro mist separator with auto purge valve.

5. Have an industrial grade membrane filter.

6. Have a built-in stainless steel air tank with maximum purge pressure of 750 kPa (110 psi).

7. Have a mechanical pressure gauge to show tank pressure.

8. Have a check valve or other system to prevent reverse air flow to tank.

9. Have an industrial strength ARB compressor pump capable of maintaining a minimum pump/purge pressure of 400 kPa (58 psi).

10. Have a maximum compressor current of 30 amps.

11. Have an operating voltage of 12V DC nominal.

12. Have built-in pressure transducer WL3100A with SDI-12 interface and a 4-20mA interface.

13. Have an LCD display.

14. Have an operating range of 0-50 feet.

15. Have an accuracy of ±0.02% or better.

16. Have an adjustable bubble rate from 0 to 45 bubbles/minute (bpm).

17. Have bubble rate pre-set for minimum of 26 bpm.

18. Have a bubble rate test port.

19. Have a differential pressure regulator of 20 kPa to 35 kPa (3 psi to 5 psi).

20. Have an operating temperature range of -40℃ to 70℃.

21. Have a minimum of one (1) orifice line fitting for 3/8 inch OD tubing.

22. Be in a corrosion resistant, powder coated, metal enclosure.

23. Be no larger than 20.0 X 14.0 X 9.0 inches (508 mm X 355.6 mm X 228.6 mm).

24. Weigh no more than 45 lbs. (20 kg).
