AMMONIA ANALYZER

SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS:

Analyzer:

1. Shall be field-ruggedized, portable, and fitted with shock mounts to reduce vibration.

2. Shall have sample throughput of 30 seconds or under.

3. Shall use peristaltic pump system for sample introduction.

4. Shall be fitted for automated switching between introduction of standards, reagent-water and sample.

5. Shall be capable of detecting ammonium concentrations 1 µM and resolving concentrations between 1 µM and 2 µM.

6. Shall have a minimum upper detection range of 700 µM.

7. Shall have precision and accuracy for detection of ammonium of at least ± 5% of the amount present.

8. Shall be capable of required accuracy and precision when sampling turbid ambient environmental waters.

9. Shall have adjustable case temperature to control instrument operating temperature up to 30 C.

10. Shall be capable of operating in continuous-sampling mode wherein measurements are made continuously over time, or in discrete-sample mode wherein samples, standards and baseline measurements are made at programmable intervals.
