Salient Characteristics
S21037
COMPACT TERRESTRIAL MAPPING SENSOR
Compact Terrestrial Mapping Sensor:
1. Shall be a compact terrestrial mapping sensor fully integrated with a bathymetric multibeam echosounder, forward looking sonar, forward looking bottom detection and iLiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) system.
2. Shall allow integrated sensors to work with one hardware platform with a single LAN connection to a laptop.
3. Shall have at least 300,000 data points per second in 30 by 360-degree field view.
4. Shall be used for mapping above water surface terrain and allow a complete picture from one pass.
5. Shall include one (1) cable that connects the IP67 iLiDAR sensor head to the topside Sonar Interface Unit (SIU).
a. Shall be at least 8 meters long.
6. Shall have 1-20Hz-time of flight measurements with dual returns infrared laser.
7. Shall have 5 to at least a 20Hz frame rate.
8. Laser shall have wavelength peak at 905nm with Laser Institute of America Class 1 power levels or better.
9. Shall have angular resolution of 2º between every of the 16 laser/horizontal and resolution 0.1º to 0.4º vertical, or better.
10. Shall have a range of a least 100 meters.
11. Shall be capable of logging a synchronized data time stamp while connected to the topside SIU.
12. Shall run on 10 to no more than 28VDC OR 110/220VAC when powered directly by the SIU.
13. Shall have accuracy of 2cm, or better.
14. Shall weight no more than 2.4kg.
