Statement of Work
Valentine National Wildlife Refuge
Pony Lake Shop Garage Door Sensors

The US Fish and Wildlife Service has the need for the replacement of garage door sensors at the Pony Lake Shop located in the Valentine National Wildlife Refuge. Contractor shall provide all labor, material, and equipment for the repairs. The Government will not provide any equipment or materials.
The following is a list of procedures that will be required for the repair and replacement of existing sensors on 4 Pony Lake Maintenance Shop doors. Shall have 1 unit per door (4 Total).
- Shall have a bi-directional link
- Receiver shall be compatible with 3 wireless transmitters
- Shall have on-board diagnostics for troubleshooting
- Shall have UL 325 recognized component
Replace 4 Lift Master sensor eyes with wired Sensing edge. Contractor shall replace malfunctioning and broken photo-eyes on bottom of garage doors with wired sensing edge, which improves safety by going along the entire length of the door opening mechanism.
- Shall have a response time of 135 milliseconds or less
- Shall have a frequency of 916 Mhz
- Shall have UL 325 recognized component
Contractor shall provide all labor, material, and lift equipment to convert from photo-eyes to wired sensing edge to include channel and edge on (3) 14' wide and (1) 12' wide garage doors.
Period of Performance: 10/01/2024-04/30/2025
