STATEMENT OF WORK

PEST CONTROL SERVICES

1. Purpose of Contract:

a. The mission of the Bureau of Indian Education Facilities Management is to provide a safe and healthy environment for all employees working and students attending the Turtle Mountain Schools and Ojibwa Indian School.

b. The purpose of this contract is to supply pest control of insects and rodents. Insects such as flies, cockroaches, silverfish, crickets, etc. and rodents such as mice and rates in specified buildings, as well as pest control of gophers outside buildings (during summer months; once a year)

2. Statement of Work:

a. The contract shall provide all labor, equipment, chemicals, transportation, and all incidentals as needed for pest control services as specified for the Turtle Mountain Schools and Ojibwa Indian School.

b. All work under this contract shall conform to all safety standards.

c. Work shall be accomplished by individuals skilled on this trade.

d. The Contractor will provide Safety Data Sheets on types of chemical used for BIE’s Environmental Management System.

e. The Contractor will provide a current State License for the State of North Dakota.

f. The Contractor will provide proof of insurance for the State of North Dakota.

g. The Contractor will be required to purchase a Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO) License.

h. Verification of how long the Contractor has been in the Pest Control Business.

i. Contractor must provide proof of registration in sam.gov

3. Period of Performance:

a. November 30, 2021 to December 31, 2022

4. Contractor will furnish all labor, equipment and chemicals as needed for monthly pest control services, and summer months for gopher control for the Turtle Mountain School and Ojibwa Indian School as specified.

VENDOR SHALL BE ON CALL FOR OTHER SCHEDULED SERVICES AND WILL BE AVAILABLE WITHIN 48 HOURS FROM THE TIME OF NOTIFICATION OF SERVICES NEEDED.

b. The Bureau of Indian Education is a government entity and thus tax exempt

c. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to buy a Business License from the Turtle Mountain Tribe TERO Office. The Contractor can call the TERO Office at (701) 477-2661 for specific details on the cost of the license.
