Subject: Statement of Work-Mobile Docking Stations

This statement of work is for 17 mobile computer docking stations to be used in SNDO Law Enforcement Vehicles for the fiscal year of 2020. This statement of work is good from July 10, 2020-September 30, 2020.

Description of Specifications of the Mobile Docking Stations:

· Must fit Dell Latitude 14 semi rugged computers

· Compact, low profile occupy less vehicle cabin space

· Has rounded corner and beveled for safety and protection

· Constructed out of light weight high strength aluminum

· Aluminum offers vibration reduction

· Auto latching feature that secures computer when fully seated into dock.

· Have side facing status light indicators, extra USB and speaker/mic ports for user access

· Flexible non-capture locking mechanism allows for securing of computer without use of key

· Include a key that can be used when extra security or theft deterrence is required

· Front-located push-to-release tab increases ease of use when removing computer from vehicle dock

· Full port replication to ensure connectivity for communications and peripherals

· Mounting system flexible and easy to integrate with existing or new installations

· Certified: MIL-STD 810G; SAE J1455. Tested and verified

Description of Specifications for Articulate arm

· Slim, low profile design to prevent hardware stack-up in vehicle

· Space-efficient – must fit perfectly under laptop and does not protrude into the user or vehicle cabin area

· Mount on standard, vehicle-specific or multi-purpose consoles and Baseline pedestals

· Easy to installs on flat horizontal surfaces

· User-friendly design allows for a variety of motions and device positions

· Swivel / swing capability with lock-out to provide side-to-side positioning of vehicle dock or cradle between driver and passenger

· Should extend for at least 6 inches and allow for adjustment - yet prevents unwanted extension

· Tension adjustment to offer users the ability to adapt both slide and swing / swivel tension to meet their motion requirements

· Have multiple tilt options available: low profile wedge block, standard adjustable tilt, etc.

· Articulate arm unit should remain solid and does not rattle / shake in extreme road conditions

· Structural components are smoothed; rounded corners and contoured edges offer optimal safety

· Have a latching mechanism that will not allow the unit to extend (in the event of an emergency) and will automatically retract - minimizing the chance of injury

· Have swivel limit adjustment to enable the user to select their desired amount of swing / swivel. This feature will allow the user to limit motion of laptops away from air bag zone, steering wheel and other operator controls

Description of Specifications for power supply:

· 11-16 VDC automobile power supply for Dell Latitude 14 semi-rugged laptop docking station

· Capability to hard wire into vehicle

· Power computer and charge internal battery from a DC source.

· Power surge protection and power input regulator.

· Rugged design for dust, moisture and high humidity.

· Sealed for the harshest environments.

· 20 VDC output voltage.

· Cigarette adapter version.

· 3-year warranty

Budget and Period of Performance:

These mobile docking stations will be shipped with in 30 days of the contract being awarded.
