About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for constructing a prefabricated shade structure at the Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge in Chavez County, New Mexico. The project requires erecting one 75' (L) x 50' (W) x 16' (H) prefabricated shade structure, with the contractor responsible for providing and delivering all components, including structural elements like columns, beams, rafters, purlins, and roof panels. The refuge will provide engineered drawings prior to the Notice to Proceed (NTP), and the contractor must assemble and install all materials necessary to complete the shade structure.
The period of performance is 45 workdays following the NTP, with the project located at 4200 East Pine Lodge Road in Roswell, NM. Key project contacts include Lindsey Landowski (Refuge Manager) and Bill Snipes (Maintenance), with Erik Burlingame listed as the Contracting Officers Representative. The SOW includes attachments such as photos of the building site, structural components, and engineered drawings, providing detailed specifications for the construction process and site preparation.
