16. REMARKS

The contractor shall provide (1) copy of this information in paper format, a maximum of 30-calendar-days after contract award. The contractor shall provide a second copy of this information in paper format at the time of delivery of the equipment. Installation and Information Technology information will provided detailing utility feed requirements, and computer hardware and software data.

1) Installation Utility Feeds: Contractor shall provide electrical circuit size required for the equipment to be provided, and if other utilities may also be required (such as air).

The contractor shall also identify whether filtration is needed.

2) Information Technology Information: The scanner and workstation shall be installed into the Army network. The US Army must maintain IT security to avoid malicious electronic attack. Because of that, close coordination with RIA, and Army IT personal is a requirement during project execution. The contractor shall define specific software and hardware to be provided by the contract. Contractor shall provide all information needed for approval of this system through the 106 Signal Corps (working through the JMTC IT Directorate) including Information Technology details of the system provided. At a minimum the contractor shall provide the Personal Computer manufacturer and chassis model number, operating system (Windows 7) manufacturer and version, software manufacturer and version. All necessary system drivers need to be identified, and comply with the Army Gold Image Standard. The contractor shall identify manufacturer model number, Mega pixel size and ports available for the monitor to be provided. The scanner to be provided will include IP address, communication port quantity and type, and data transmission documentation and hardware interfaces. All software ports and communication interfaces are required to be defined. Other relevant IT information may also be needed not addressed above.
