MINNESOTA AIR NATIONAL GUARD
HEADQUARTERS 133RD AIRLIFT WING (AMC)

STATEMENT OF WORK
| 1. Project Title: | New mobile storage racking and shelves in AES warehouse |
| 2. Project Location: | 133d Airlift Wing |
| Minnesota Air National Guard Base |

4. Description of Work: This project involves the work as described herein to be accomplished at the above location, with all labor, equipment, supplies and materials to be provided by the contractor. All work shall be accomplished under environmental conditions appropriate to the nature of the project. Work will comply with all local, state, and federal regulations; to include NEC, EPA, OSHA, Minnesota State Building Codes, as well as USAF and Air National Guard regulations. Work shall include but not necessarily limited to:
A. Demo existing and install new mobile pallet racking and mobile shelves in multi-purpose warehouse space in the southeast corner of building 641 at the Minnesota Air National Guard.
B. Verify warehouse conditions and measurements in the RFQ phase. Some obstructions on the walls and ceiling must be accommodated for by vendor.
C. Existing track cut into concrete floor is available for use with new racking if possible. Otherwise removal of existing and install of new track would be needed, cut into the floor, being level with the current floor.
D. Drawing of preferred layout is included in the SOW. Any deviations from the drawings must be documented and approved by the customer prior.
E. Color will be similar to the blue in the neighboring room to the west. Customer will select from vendor’s available blue colors.
F. Butcher block top on workbenches will be similar in color to the ones in the neighboring room to the west, light wood stain. Customer will select from vendor’s available stains.
G. As per the drawing, racking on the south and north walls will be stationary.
H. As per the drawing, racking and shelving’s in the center will be mobile.
I. As per the drawing, the pallet racking and shelves in the center will be in two separately mobile sets WITHOUT space between the sets.
J. All racking and shelving shelf heights will be adjustable by the customer, no vendor labor required, so customer can alter individual shelf heights as needed to accommodate whatever is being stored. Shelves will be removable along with adjustable height.
a. At least Four (4) shelves are to be provided for each section of the pallet racking.
b. At least Six (6) shelves are to be provided for each sections of the shelving.
c. It is the intent of the customer to remove the bottom shelf of the pallet racking on the south and north walls, using the concrete floor as the bottom shelf. This will facilitate wheeled litter stantions being rolled into those spaces.
d. Shelf depths and widths adjustability is not mandatory in the RFQ.
K. On the drawing the 42”x108”x144” represents pallet racking, along with the 24”x108”x120.
a. These measurements are estimated. Vendor is to maximize storage space allowed by the current warehouse space.nVendor is to verify measurements and ensuring adherence to all codes and laws.
b. Weight capability at least current weight capacity, see bullet Q.
L. On the drawing the 24”x36”x44” represents bin storage shelving.

N. Dimensions of the racking and shelving may vary up to 2” in any direction as space accommodates. As long as pallets are able to be moved with a walk-behind fork lift and all safety regulations/laws and concerns are adhered to. As stated above in item B, vendor is to verify warehouse conditions and measurements in the RFQ phase. Some obstructions on the walls and ceiling must be accommodated for by vendor.
O. Site is to be left in an orderly and clean manner at the end of each work shift.
P. Contractor required to field verify all measurements and directional orientations prior to installation.
5. Work includes:
A. Demolishing and disposing off-site of the current racking and shelves.
B. Site preparation to enable installation of new product.
C. Provide all materials required for the new product to be fully functional and usable per customary practices and usage.
D. Install the new product to be fully functional and usable per customary practices.
E. Provide all equipment, tools and labor necessary for the above said work.
6. Warranty: All materials shall be warranted to be in compliance with this statement of work and to the highest standards of the industry.
7. Work Hours: The Contractor shall provide services between the hours of 0700-1600 on Monday through Friday, except on recognized US holidays or when the Government facility/installation is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government-directed facility/installation closings.
7. Manpower Reporting: The contractor shall completely fill in all required data fields using the following web address: https://www.sam.gov. Reporting inputs shall be for the labor executed during the period of performance during each Government fiscal year (FY), which runs October 1 through September 30. While inputs may be reported any time during the FY, all data shall be reported no later than October 31 of each calendar year, beginning with 2019. Contractors may direct questions to the help desk at https://www.sam.gov.
