ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, MARYLAND 21005-1846

The United States Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), MD 21005, is issuing a sources sought for alternatives to ViaSat Linkway under solicitation #W56JSR-20-R-0019.

Product Descriptions –the Government is currently using ViaSat Linkway.

We are looking for interested parties who can provide products that can fulfill the government requirements listed below.

· Software that provides control and monitoring capabilities of the satellite hardware including the SATCOM Transportable Terminal (STT), Unit Hub Satellite Terminal (UHST) and the satellite dish itself.

· Software that provides TDMA network timing, synchronization, terminal acquisition, network configuration, and bandwidth management.

· Software that provides remote technical assistance 24 hours x 7 day a week x 365 days via telephone or email from a Network Operations Center (NOC)

· Supports both local and geographic redundancy of the network controller.

· Software that provides Bandwidth-On-Demand — Real-time, dynamically-assigned bandwidth allocation based on actual traffic requirements.

· Software that supports Integrated satellite router for IP networking with advanced features such as IP QoS, IP header compression, IP multicast, and TCP acceleration.

· Software that has integrated frame relay switch for connecting peripheral frame relay access devices supporting voice, packet data, serial data, or legacy protocols.

· Software that provides mobile networking, at sea or on land, with automatic system acquisition and timing.

· Software that allows secure network control from any location through a network management system with graphical (GUI) web-based PC clients.

This is a sources sought only.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number for this acquisition would be 541519 – Other Computer Related Services. The posting date for this Sources Sought is June 8, 2020, and the closing date for responses is 5:00 PM, Eastern Time, June 15, 2020. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, true proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The Government shall not provide any reimbursement for any materials submitted.
