Federal Energy Regulatory Commission – Office of Enforcement Statement of Work

July 1, 2022

1. SCOPE

Monitoring and tracking prices and price formation lie at the heart of the Commission’s effective Market Surveillance and Market Oversight programs. S&P Global Commodity Insights (formerly S&P Global Platts) has, for many years, been the provider of key price reference data for market participants to price natural gas and electricity to determine market prices (both fixed and index). The S&P Global Platts prices are copyrighted by S&P Global Commodity Insights; they are not available through any other source without an agreement with S&P Global Commodity Insights.
