TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
LOWER GRANITE NATURAL RESOURCE
MANAGEMENT KIOSK/SHELTER
1.0 INTENT
The following specifications pertain to the purchase of all steel Kiosk/Shelter for use at Lower Granite Natural Resource Management, Clarkston, Washington.
2.0 SCOPE
The successful quoter shall be required to supply all items as described in section Shipment and Delivery.
3.0 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Five (5) Shelters shall meet specifications listed.
Custom Shelter Design 10' x 10' (AS) Gable Message Center Minimum 90 MPH wind Minimum 20 PSF Snow load Brackets shall support a 4’ x 8’ x 3/4 “ marine grade plywood message board (message board provided by government)
Column 2 Standard Column Design (Square) Powder Coated-Brown in color
Frame Structural framing to be of structural steel with ends caps to form clean appearance with no place for birds or animals to nest or roost.
Poser Coated-Brown in color
Roof: 4:12 Pitch 7'-6" Eave Height 24 Ga. Multi Rib Metal Roofing (24 Ga. 36" W pre-cut panels)-Evergreen in color
GENERAL MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS
All structural steel tubing shall be ASTM A-500 Grade B-C.
All other steel (plates or gussets) shall be ASTM A-36.
All welding is to be completed in accordance with latest AWS standards.
Hardware is to be ASTM -325.
Engineered Drawings Signed and Sealed Engineered Drawing and Calculations Required for Permit
4.0 WARRANTY
4.1 All items shall be covered by a minimum one-year warranty on all parts, labor, and workmanship from factory defects.
5.0 SUBMITTALS
Descriptive Materials (brochures, illustrations, drawings, data sheets, etc.), Descriptive Materials m must be submitted which will allow the Contracting Officer to determine, without discussion with the offeror, whether the products being offered meets all of the required specifications. Submittals shall include copies of manufactures catalog cut sheet, specification sheets, and warranty.
6.0 OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUALS
6.1 One (1 ) complete copy of the Operation and Maintenance Manual shall be provided
6.2 The manuals shall include instructions on the installation, operation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, warranty of the systems, and a list of recommended spare parts.
6.3 They shall also include As-Built drawings showing all system components, part numbers, one line diagrams, and system outline.
6.4 Any information pertaining to models or components not supplied under this contract shall be crossed out.
6.5 Also included shall be the name, phone and fax numbers, and email address of the contractor, ma n uf a c t u r e r , a n d a d i s t r i b u t o r w he r e s p a r e pa r t s a n d f i l t e r s c a n be p u r c ha se d .
7.0 SHIPMENT AND DELIVERY
7.1 All items shall be delivered FOB destination to Lower Granite Natural Resources within eight
(8) Weeks of contract award.
7.2 The contractor shall be responsible for packing and shipping the components in a manner that will ensure undamaged and complete arrival to Lower Granite Natural Resources.
7.3 No shipments are allowed other than normal business hours of Monday through
Thursday 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., excluding Federal holidays.
7.4 All shipments shall be delivered to:
