A-10 CICU Repair Synopsis

1. Solicitation will be issued on or about: 14 May 2021 and close on or about 14 June 2021.

8. Description: This effort is to establish a repair contract to repair the A-10 CICU and the items contained therein. The CICU provides the interface between the cockpit, the Advanced Helmet-mounted Cueing System (AHCP), the 11 pylon stations, the Digital Stores Management System (DSMS), the Multi-Function Color Displays (MFCDs), the internal gun system, the targeting pod, and situational awareness system. The ClCU also provides the input/output (I/0) functions necessary to communicate with other A-10 avionics equipment including the Digital Transfer Cartridge, the Interface Flight and Fire Control Computer, the Head-Up Display, the Low Altitude Safety and Targeting Enhancement System, and the Armament Relay Box.

Lockheed Martin-Owego, Cage Code 03640, 1801 State Rt 17 C Owego, NY, 13827 is the only known source with capability and data ownership to repair the A-10 Signal Data Processor (also known as CICU) and related Circuit Card Assemblies. A J&A will be posted with the post-award synopsis.
