SCOPE OF WORK

SUPPLY LAMPS AND QUARTZ SLEEVES FOR ULTRA VIOLET DISINFECTION SYSTEM AT THE NOGALES INTERNATIONAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY.

1. BACKROUND

The US International Boundary and Water Commission (USIBWC) operates and maintains the Nogales International Wastewater Treatment Plant (NIWTP) in Rio Rico, Arizona. The NIWTP currently treats approximately 17 million gallons per day of raw sewage entering from Nogales, Mexico and Nogales, Arizona. The NIWTP consists of a Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR), filtering and disinfection.

The NIWTP utilizes a Trojan UV 3000 PLUS disinfection system. The system requires replacement of lamps as needed, and every 12,000 hr. EOLL; and replacement of quartz sleeves as needed.

2. SCOPE OF WORK:

a. Supply 1,300 new UV lamps meeting the following specifications:

Lamp type, Low Pressure high output Amalgam (GA64T6HE Angle base).

Overall lamp length: 61.5 inches (1,562 mm).

b. Supply 500 new Quartz Sleeves, 28 mm x 25 mm x 1,950 mm domed, flared.

c. New lamps and quartz sleeves shall be fully compatible with Trojan 3000 PLUS system.

d. Cost proposal shall include taxes and freight for delivery of products to the Nogales International Wastewater Treatment Plant, 865 Rio Rico Industrial park, Rio Rico, AZ 85648.

3. SITE ACCESS:

The NIWTP is a restricted access facility and access to the site must be in accordance with USIBWC procedures. Currently all visitors and contractors are escorted by USIBWC personnel.

4. WORKING HOURS:

Work hours shall be from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM local time, Monday to Friday except for Federal Holidays. Delivery of products shall be made within these working hours.
