The CLIN extended description has changed from:
Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) has a requirement to classify electronic mail messages. To use the Outlook email client on the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network, an automated solution for properly marking emails as unclassified, For Official Use Only (FOUO), and Secret is needed. The contractor shall provide the Outllook classification in accordance with the following salient characteristics that are required to meet the Governments minimum needs for the procurement of a software license and software support:A) Must provide options for marking emails at different levels of classification pertinent to the Secret classification domain and below and require that a user select a classification label prior to sending an email.B) Must include all pertinent classification label options as well as caveats for processing information at the secret level and below.C) Must not allow a user to send an email in Microsoft Outlook unless they select a classification label for each email being sent.
Once the user selects a classification label, the software will allow the user to send the email. When the user clicks "send", the software automatically applies classification labels with all selected caveats and then Outlook sends the email across the network. Classification labels are in the following areas:a) Email subject line classificationb) Email body classificationD) Once the user selects classification labels for subject line and email body, the software will allow the user to send the email and will automatically apply the selected labels to the subject line, header, and footer of the email so that they are clearly visible to the recipient(s) of the email.E) The software license and software support shall support up to 800 users with the ability to support an additional 800 users.F) The software shall not require any additional hardware or servers to be procured and work within the current infrastructure.G) The software shall provide users the necessary mechanisms needed to meet the criteria listed in DoDM 5200.01 Volume 2 while using classified U.S. Government email.NOTE: The Government will use method of payment via Credit Card. All Fixed Price Amounts shall include any and all fees.
