About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details NASA Glenn Research Center's requirement to procure a Symetrie 6DOF motion platform for an RF system. The comprehensive procurement includes a NOTUS P Motion Hexapod with specific technical specifications, including travel ranges of ±250/±200mm for translations and ±25/±30° for rotations, a 200 kg vertical payload capacity, and speeds ranging from ±300 to ±800 mm/s. Additional customizations include a C-axis with ±360° rotation, 10m cable extensions, an EU-US transformer, wheel upgrades for the hexapod and electrical cabinet, and a hand-held control unit.

The procurement also includes advanced software capabilities through the SYM_Motion API, featuring UDP acquisition and state feedback broadcasting at 100 Hz, and an External Real-Time Trajectory (ERTT) feature allowing dynamic hexapod control. The performance will occur at NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, OH, with a 30-day delivery timeline after receipt of order. This is identified as a sole source requirement, indicating a specific vendor or product is mandated for the technical specifications needed by the agency.
