About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details requirements for a cryofan needed at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) in Huntsville, AL for developing and testing a thermal control system. The cryofan must meet specific technical specifications, including a maximum static system pressure of 450 psia, an operating temperature range of 10-350 K, and the ability to generate 200 m of delta pressure at 20 m³/hr with fan speeds between 9,000 and 18,000 rpm. The accompanying performance curve graph illustrates the pumping capacity across different rpm settings, showing pressure head variations from 9,000 to 18,000 rpm at increasing volume flow rates.
