STATEMENT OF WORK

1. Objective/Requirements

Services to support the Wallops Fight Facility (WFF) Education Team in delivering the RockOn and RockSat-C student launch opportunities conducted at WFF in collaboration with the NASA Sounding Rocket Program Office in January 2025 – September 2025.

2. Characteristics, Scope, and Specs The contractor shall perform the following duties in the following areas:

A. Provide support to NASA Wallops Flight Facility (WFF) for the RockOn and RockSat-C student launch opportunity which will include the following:

a. Lead production and kitting of the workshop hardware for 50 kits as well as verifying needed support equipment (hardware and equipment provided by WFF)

b. Schedule and conduct required 8 reviews per team for 4 of the 8 RockSat-C teams (~32 reviews total) and provide a summary and required actions (Conceptual Design Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review, Subsystem Test Review, Integrated Systems Test Review, Full Mission Simulation Review, Visual Verification Check-in) with the expectation that 90% of the teams will complete the reviews and finalize their experiments

c. Support prime contractor on RockSat-C reviews and documentation for NASA Sounding Rocket Program Office

d. Support prime contractor onsite at WFF for RockSat-C integration and testing in June

e. Provide feedback on RockSat-C team final reports

f. Provide onsite technical support at WFF during workshop instruction in June 2025 for the 20 to 25 teams with 3 to 4 students and faculty member for each RockOn Team

g. Travel support for item f

B. Provide support to NASA Wallops Flight Facility (WFF) for the RockOn Faculty workshop

a. Support planning and conducting the RockOn Faculty workshop to be held at WFF for

15 to 20 STEM faculty from across the U.S. in May 2025

3. Place of Performance Majority of the work will take place in Aurora, Colorado. Travel to WFF is required for workshops, integration, launch, and recovery.

4. Period of Performance Services provided from January 10, 2025 to September 30, 2025
