About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding a federal solicitation for a thermal camera. The solicitation seeks a FLIR A6701 camera package containing a 50mm macro lens with manual focus, 3-5um calibration for temperatures ranging from -20C to +350C, a Research Studio Pro software license valid for one year, and a microscope stand. The solicitation number is 80NSSC23845924Q and was issued by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Shared Services Center for an unspecified requirement. Bidders were asked to provide separate quotes for a manual focus camera and an auto focus camera, as the statement of work allows for either focus capability but the correct lens cannot be determined from the information given.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
1. What lens would you like quoted for this requirement? The correct lens size cannot be determined from the information provided.
2. The focus requirement at the bottom of the SOW states manual or auto focus. The camera that meets this specification that provides just the manual focus capability and the camera that can provide auto focus capability are two different cameras. Would you like two separate quotes? One for a manual focus camera and one for the auto fucus camera capability?
We wanted the camera package that contained a 50mm macro lens with manual focus:
PKG-A6701-MACRO
FLIR A6701, 50mm macro lens, 3- 5um Calibration for -20°C to +350°C, Research Studio - Pro - 1 Year, Microscope Stand
