80NSSC19Q1318 "Competed contract to develop a numerical solver for the transient flow through screens (compliance) and LAD channels"
Q) I’m looking at the solicitation "Competed contract to develop a numerical solver for the transient flow through screens (compliance) and LAD channels”. I’m interested in bidding but have a few questions:
1) Will the experimental data be provided? We are very good at building solvers and working with experimental data to optimize them, but we cannot collect the data.
2) Will the contract need to be onsite or is remote work possible? The main resource I am thinking of having work on this lives in New Jersey. Monthly or quarterly trips to Ohio on site are possible, but daily or weekly will be a stretch.
A) 1-Data for the deflection of the screen equation of state as a function of screen and aspect ratio will not be provided. There is publically available data for 1 aspect ratio, but not for multiple aspect ratios.
2-Work does not have to be done on site.
